About blogging, and about Jennifer's choir

Hello to everyone in Rita's class. I hope that you continue to enjoy blogging. If you have any questions about blogging, please ask me. Leave a comment to this post and I will be happy to answer in your most recent post in your journal.

Don't forget to make one new post each week in your blog so that your partner in Shannon's class can read it and leave a comment for you.

Also, visit your partner's blog each week to read their latest post and leave a comment for them. They are very happy to hear from you and they want to communicate with you.

News about me: Monday and Thursday nights I am singing in my church choir. We will be putting on a cabaret in the middle of April and so we are practising our songs very hard. A cabaret is a fun musical show where the audience sits around tables. They enjoy the music and the acting while they eat and drink. I am singing alto in the choir (Alto is the lower of the two women's voice groups in a choir. Soprano is the high voices' group.) I hope that we will remember all our words in the songs and that we won't make any mistakes! Wish me luck!

Last Day (but not my last post!)

Today is my last day with the class. On Monday, another teacher whose name is Rita will come. I've enjoyed being with all you wonderful students and I am going to miss you. I hope that you continue to "blog" after I leave and also after you finish this class in April! I will continue to visit my blog and yours as well. Maybe you will see some comments from me in your blogs!

Keep blogging and communicating. It is a great way to practice your writing and computer skills while you share thoughts, ideas and memories with your friends. I hope you have fun!

Spring is coming

Now it is March and the weather is getting warmer. Last week and this morning, I heard birds chirping as I caught my bus. The sun is rising earlier and setting later, so we have more light in the day time.

This year, Daylight Saving Time starts on March 11th (at 2:00 am). Don't forget to turn your clocks forward by one hour on March 10th (Saturday) before you go to bed at night!

Enjoy the extra light!
